Primary source Internal intake · 9 reviewed intake signals · Desk window 23:41

TL;DR

Unverified reports and initial footage document strikes in the Iranian port city of Chabahar, with no further details on the source or extent of the attack yet available.

01 · THE DISPATCH

Initial footage of the strikes in the Iranian port city of Chabahar has emerged as of 23:41 Jerusalem, providing visual documentation of the attacks that have been reported over the past 21 minutes. The footage, circulating on social media and reported by a single source, has not been independently verified. The source of the strikes and the targets hit remain unidentified. No official confirmation has been issued by Iranian authorities.

The reports began at 23:20 Jerusalem, when The Zioneer first reported an explosion heard in Bushehr, southwestern Iran, according to security analyst Yair Goldblatt. Minutes later, at the same timestamp, the desk reported additional explosions near the Bushehr nuclear power plant, followed by reports of explosions in both Bushehr and Chabahar. Then came reports of power outages in Chabahar, and subsequently reports that a power station in Chabahar had been attacked, alongside additional explosions in Bandar Abbas and Chabahar, as per Israeli journalist Asaf Rozenzweig and Iranian Telegram channels. Finally, additional explosions were reported at Chabahar port. All reports remain unverified, and Iranian state media has not commented.

The Zioneer has previously reported on internal unrest in Iran, including student-led protests, regime crackdowns, and arrests of activists, but this incident appears separate from those developments. The explosions in southern Iran have not been linked to any internal dissent.

What remains unclear: the source of the strikes, the extent of damage, and whether there are any casualties. The footage has yet to be independently corroborated, and no party has claimed responsibility.
