01 · THE DISPATCH

At 13:46 Jerusalem time on Thursday afternoon, reporter Chananel Aviv reported on Telegram that Iran had launched approximately five projectiles toward Jordan, with additional launches also directed at Kuwait. This significantly expands the scope of the attack, which the desk had first flagged at 13:43 Jerusalem time as a single launch toward Jordan.

The thread began at 13:41 Jerusalem time, when the desk published an initial report citing claims that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had launched missiles at a US military base in Jordan, triggering sirens. A second version at the same timestamp confirmed a single projectile from Iran toward Jordan, though the target and munition type remained unknown. The latest update from Chananel Aviv now indicates a volley of at least five projectiles toward Jordan, and a separate salvo toward Kuwait, marking a notable escalation both in volume and geographic reach.

The Zioneer has previously reported on a days-long Iranian missile campaign against Israel, including over 20 ballistic missiles fired on June 8 and additional barrages on June 10. Unverified footage from northwest Iran on June 11 appeared to show multiple missiles in flight, and footage from Baghdad on June 8 showed projectiles flying eastward toward Iran. The current attacks on Jordan and Kuwait, if confirmed, would represent a further widening of Iran's retaliatory strikes against US allies and regional targets.

The type of munition used in Thursday afternoon's launches remains unknown. There are no reports of impacts, interceptions, or casualties. No official confirmation has been received from Jordanian, Kuwaiti, or US authorities. The nature of the intended targets—whether military bases, critical infrastructure, or other sites—is still unclear.
