Coordinates published with the imagery place the site at 29°21'31.1"N 47°31'39.9"E, corresponding to Ali Al Salem Air Base in northern Kuwait.
This is the latest in a series of Iranian claims regarding strikes on US and allied military infrastructure in the Gulf. As The Zioneer reported on June 13, Iran published satellite imagery claiming a drone strike destroyed a US early-warning radar site in Bahrain. On June 11, Kuwait's military stated it had intercepted 24 Iranian drones over 48 hours with no casualties, though a separate source later claimed material damage.
