Unverified reports from Iran claim that the United States has carried out strikes in the city of Bushehr a short time ago. No details on targets, damage, or casualties are yet available.
New unverified reports from Iran claim that the United States has carried out strikes in the city of Bushehr, southern Iran, just before 09:20 Jerusalem Monday morning. The reports, attributed to local sources, do not specify targets, damage, or casualties.
These reports come about four hours after the US military completed its ninth consecutive night of strikes on Iran, as The Zioneer reported at 05:11 Jerusalem Monday. In that wave, the US struck missile sites in Bushehr and other locations, and the deputy governor of Bushehr province confirmed two military installations in Khormoj were hit. CENTCOM said it hit command centers, air defense, and naval assets across Iran.
The Zioneer has covered multiple reports of US strikes in Bushehr province since early July, including claims of strikes near the Bushehr nuclear facility, at Asaluyeh, and in the mountains of Kangan. All have come from Iranian or regional media and have not been independently confirmed.
No official confirmation from US or Iranian authorities has been issued for the latest reports.
