Iran's military and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said they struck US military installations in Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman in retaliation for American strikes. The claims are unverified by independent sources. Sirens were also reported in the United Arab Emirates.
This morning's claims expand on the Iranian army's earlier statement at 06:38 Jerusalem, which claimed drone strikes on a Patriot system in Kuwait and other targets. Now, the IRGC has joined in claiming joint responsibility, adding Qatar, Oman, and Jordan to the list of targeted countries. The Iranian military named specific installations: the Al-Amir Hassan base in Jordan, a Patriot battery and ammunition depot in Kuwait, the Al-Udeid base in Qatar, a communications facility in Bahrain, and logistics support bases in Oman. Sirens were also reported in the UAE, possibly indicating incoming fire or defensive measures. As with previous claims, independent verification of damage or casualties is not yet available. The Zioneer reported earlier today on the army's initial claims, and the IRGC has previously claimed strikes on similar targets in the region over the past month.
