Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claims it struck American targets at the Sheikh Isa airbase in Bahrain using unmanned aircraft and drones, according to a single unverified report. The claim follows a series of similar IRGC claims of strikes on US positions across the region in recent weeks.
This bulletin reports a new IRGC claim of an attack on US targets, this time at the Sheikh Isa airbase in Bahrain. According to a single unverified Iranian channel, the Revolutionary Guards used unmanned aerial vehicles and drones to strike American military targets at the base.
The claim is the latest in a sequence of IRGC assertions of attacks on US positions across the Middle East in recent weeks. As The Zioneer has reported, the Guards previously claimed drone strikes on the Ali al-Salem base in Kuwait (June 10), ballistic missile strikes on US forces departing Bahrain (June 10), and a multi-base salvo hitting Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain (June 11). A more recent wave (June 27) included claims of strikes on US positions alongside a separate incident in which Bahrain's Foreign Ministry accused Iran of drone attacks on its territory.
This specific claim — targeting Sheikh Isa — was made approximately at the same time as the previous multi-base claim on June 11, which already named Sheikh Isa as one of five struck bases. The current report does not provide independent corroboration, damage assessment, or US military comment.
