At 17:22 Jerusalem, initial reports of explosions in Sulaymaniyah and Erbil were received. Within minutes, reports specified strikes on the headquarters of Iranian opposition parties, and Al Jazeera footage confirmed the targeting. Later, at 17:48 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that the IRGC had intensified attacks on Kurdish opposition groups in northern Iraq, with Kurdish sources reporting over 10 casualties since the overnight hours. The corroboration evolved from a single unverified report to multiple sources including news outlet footage.
The Sulaymaniyah strike is part of a broader campaign. As The Zioneer reported on Friday, the IRGC also struck an anti-aircraft position in Bushehr, southern Iran, at 12:01 Jerusalem, and a US strike on an IRGC base in Rask, southeast Iran, was reported at 16:57 Jerusalem.
