Israel's Knesset passed a government bill in second and third readings capping attorney fees that lawyers and realization companies may collect from disability pensions and compensation for IDF and security-force wounded veterans and victims of hostile acts. MK Michael Biton (Blue and White), who led the bill, called it an end to the exploitation of veterans and terror victims by lawyers and other interests.
