Earlier today, at 09:26 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that the Likud internal court had frozen the vote count pending a sworn affidavit by 19:00 tonight, with approximately 50 uncounted ballots that could flip the bottom of the list, potentially allowing MK David Bitan to overtake Netanyahu confidant Boaz Bismut. In a separate report at the same time, The Zioneer detailed that a Likud party official who supported Bitan allegedly allowed individuals not in the voter registry to vote in a special ballot during the count, and that the required forms were never submitted to party headquarters (Metsuda). The incident was described as an attempt to advance Bitan over Bismut.
