Magen David Adom paramedics have declared the death of an approximately 80-year-old man who was critically injured in a traffic accident on Derekh Ramatayim in Hod HaSharon earlier this morning, according to the MDA spokesperson.

This update follows an earlier bulletin at 12:24 Jerusalem time in which MDA reported that the 80-year-old pedestrian was in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Derekh Ramatayim. MDA teams continued treatment at the scene until medical checks determined his death. The victim's identity has not been released.
