The Arava Rescue Unit was dispatched Monday afternoon to Nahal Gov in the southern Arava region after a mother reported losing contact with her husband and their six children, aged 9 to 19, during a hike. The unit's volunteers located the family after a search lasting about one hour. The family members were found in a state of exhaustion but were described as being in good condition. They will be medically evaluated and a decision on evacuation will be made, according to the rescue unit. The Israel Police and Ynet also reported on the operation.
