According to a source familiar with the discussions speaking to i24NEWS, Mladenov specifically requested a 14-day ceasefire to begin the disarmament process — a condition that had not been disclosed in earlier reports of the meeting.
The meeting was first reported earlier Monday at 16:53 Jerusalem by Barak Ravid (N12), who revealed that Mladenov and advisor Aryeh Lightstone had urged Netanyahu to halt Israeli strikes in Gaza, arguing that Israel committed to doing so under President Trump's 20-point plan.
