01 · THE DISPATCH

By 13:22 Jerusalem on Friday, additional high-level delegations from Armenia, Pakistan, Iraq, and Lebanon had arrived in Tehran for the funeral of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, according to regional reports. This comes as the ceremonies, which began in the morning, continue to draw a broad array of international figures.

The Zioneer has been tracking the foreign delegations since Tuesday, when initial reports indicated officials from over 30 countries would attend. That same day, a specific list emerged naming envoys from Russia, Pakistan, Turkey, and others, followed by an expanded list that included Armenia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Iraq, China, the Taliban, and others. On Friday, actual arrivals began: the Armenian prime minister met with President Pezeshkian at 11:26 Jerusalem, and Pakistan's prime minister landed at 11:40. The Egyptian president, Qatari emir, and Jordanian king arrived by 12:42, and a Hezbollah delegation including the families of Nasrallah and Mughniyeh was reported at 12:21. At 13:17, The Zioneer reported a first wave of senior foreign dignitaries had arrived. The latest additions, reported at 13:22, include further delegations from Armenia, Pakistan, Iraq, and Lebanon.

The gathering of foreign dignitaries is one of the largest in Iran since the 1979 revolution, as The Zioneer has reported. The funeral ceremonies began at 09:34 Jerusalem, with the body of the late Supreme Leader arriving at the prepared site. Earlier, Bulgarian lawmakers were reported among the attendees at the coffin viewing.

The precise schedule of the burial ceremonies remains ongoing, and further arrivals are possible.
