N12 on Tuesday afternoon released additional footage from the large fire in the Ben Shemen Forest near Highway 6. The new video comes after a monitored channel published initial footage of the blaze at around 14:31 Jerusalem, as The Zioneer reported. The fire has closed Highway 6 at the Daniel Interchange, and firefighting aircraft continue to operate at the scene.
The Zioneer first reported on the fire at 14:31 Jerusalem, when the blaze was spreading through the forest and the road was closed in both directions. Shortly after, N12 published footage credited under Section 27A of the Copyright Law. The additional footage released now provides a further view of the ongoing firefighting efforts.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Firefighting teams are still working to contain the blaze.
