Oman's Foreign Ministry announced Thursday that it is coordinating with Saudi Arabia and the UN to revive the political track in Yemen, following a Houthi strike on a Saudi vessel, according to reports.
01 · THE DISPATCH
Oman's Foreign Ministry confirmed Thursday that it is working with Saudi Arabia and the United Nations to resume Yemen peace talks, following a Houthi attack on a Saudi oil tanker. The statement comes as the Houthis have escalated maritime attacks in the Red Sea. As The Zioneer reported earlier Thursday, Oman had already been coordinating with parties to revive the political track. The new push follows a reported Houthi strike on a Saudi ship, which the group claimed responsibility for earlier this week.
