Initial reports at 13:17 Jerusalem described a lawyer shot dead in his office on Moshe Halevi Street. Early reports mistakenly identified the victim as Yolen Cohen, but within minutes the victim was correctly identified as Attorney Arbel Feldman, 50. The suspect was identified as Yolen Cohen, a client of the victim. Subsequent reports detailed that the suspect entered the office, shot Feldman, and fled the scene. Magen David Adom medics pronounced Feldman dead at the scene.
Police have launched a manhunt for Yolen Cohen, who remains at large. The commander described the motive as a business dispute, and the investigation is ongoing. The incident occurred in a law office in Rishon LeZion, a city in central Israel.
