Activists from the Arab-Jewish party Makom Lekulanu gathered outside the home of Police Commissioner Danny Levi this morning, accusing him of failing to address the wave of lethal violence in Arab society, N12 reporter Sharon Knowlich reports. The protesters chanted, 'Danny, during your shift, a citizen is murdered every 28 hours.'
The protest at the commissioner's home is the latest in a series of demonstrations by Makom Lekulanu activists against the police response to the murder wave in Arab society. As The Zioneer reported earlier this morning, similar protests have targeted the homes of other officials. The murder toll in Arab communities has exceeded 150 since the start of 2026, according to N12 journalist Sharon Knowlich. The commissioner has not yet responded to the latest protest.
