Within minutes, additional reports at 17:37 Jerusalem described the collapse as involving a restaurant, with one person reported unconscious. By 17:41 Jerusalem, fire and rescue crews were reported extracting a trapped person in serious condition. The incident has now been described as a building collapse rather than a balcony collapse, broadening the scope of the emergency.
