Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said it seized a shipment of Western AI-equipped drones concealed inside appliance trailers, intended for deep-strike attacks on military bases in the Ural Mountains and the Russian Far East, according to the FSB. A photo from Reuters accompanied the announcement.
The FSB's announcement, first reported by The Zioneer at 15:17 Jerusalem, now includes a photo from Reuters showing the seized drones. According to the agency, the drones were hidden in trailers of household appliances and were intended to strike remote military bases in the Ural Mountains and the Russian Far East. The claim comes amid a series of similar FSB reports in recent weeks about foiled drone plots, including an FPV drone scheme targeting a defense facility near Moscow on July 14. The FSB's allegations have not been independently verified.
