A person suspected of having the Ebola virus was transferred to isolation at Rambam Hospital, Israeli media reported late Saturday night. This is the second suspected case in two days, following a patient who had returned from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
A person suspected of having Ebola was admitted to isolation at Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa late Saturday, according to a report on Ynet. The Health Ministry was cited as the source of the information, which follows the first suspected case announced just hours earlier on Friday night. In that case, the patient had returned from the Democratic Republic of Congo and presented with fever and headache. The ministry noted that test results for both cases are awaited. There has been no official confirmation of a link between the two cases as of this writing. The Zioneer reported on both prior developments in separate bulletins on Friday evening.
