The operation was carried out by Border Police undercover units (mistarvim) operating in the Shuafat refugee camp, guided by Shin Bet intelligence. The suspect was arrested at his home overnight and transferred to Shin Bet interrogators. Details of the planned attack have not been released, and the suspect's identity remains under a gag order. The arrest is the latest in a series of counterterrorism operations in the Jerusalem area.
