As The Zioneer reported earlier Tuesday (Tue 11:08 Jerusalem), Police Commissioner Danny Levi said he views the door smashing with great severity and that police would use all means to locate the perpetrator. At Tue 16:52 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that the Shin Bet had entered the stone-throwing investigation, with the probe to be managed jointly with the police crime-fighting unit (YLF) of the Dan region in the Tel Aviv district police.
Now, according to Ynet, the Shin Bet has also joined the door smashing investigation, marking a further escalation in the response to attacks on media outlets. The door smashing incident occurred earlier this week.
The perpetrators of both the door smashing and the stone-throwing attacks remain unidentified. The investigations are ongoing.
