Footage from Nonthaburi, Thailand, shows a student who murdered his grandparents at home and five teachers at a school before taking his own life, according to reports. The death toll is eight, including the perpetrator.
The Zioneer reports that the death toll from the school massacre in Nonthaburi, Thailand, has risen to eight, including the student perpetrator and his grandparents. According to circulating footage, the student murdered his grandparents at home and then killed five teachers at the Debsirin Nonthaburi school before taking his own life. This updates the earlier toll of seven victims that Thai police reported earlier today.
The Zioneer has been tracking the story since Friday morning. At 06:25 Jerusalem, initial reports indicated several killed and about 20 wounded, with the suspect identified as a student who died by suicide. Over the course of the morning, the death toll rose from two to four to seven, with 15–20 wounded. Police confirmed that the shooter killed his grandparents before the attack. The current toll of eight includes the grandparents and five teachers, with the perpetrator among the dead.
The attack occurred at the Debsirin Nonthaburi school, north of Bangkok. Israeli media covered the incident, citing Thai police and local reports. The Zioneer previously reported on a separate attack in southern Thailand in July 2026 where five soldiers were killed, and a school shooting in the Philippines in June 2026.
It remains unclear whether there are additional wounded beyond the 15 reported earlier, or whether the grandparents were killed at home before the school attack. The specific identities of the victims have not been officially released.
