The teacher was among the two fatalities. The suspect, also a student, later died by suicide, with authorities confirming the suicide around 07:19 Jerusalem time. The first reports of the shooting emerged at 06:25 Jerusalem. The death toll of two excludes the shooter, meaning a total of three people died in the incident. The motive for the attack remains under investigation. As The Zioneer reported earlier, the shooter's suicide was confirmed about an hour after the initial reports.
