A terrorist arrived on a motorcycle at a checkpoint in Judea and Samaria on Thursday evening, resisted soldiers during a search, and was subdued. A knife was found on his body. He was captured and transferred to security forces for questioning. No injuries were reported, according to journalist Hillel Biton Rosen.
The thwarted knife attack at a West Bank checkpoint on Thursday evening is one of several similar incidents reported in recent weeks. As The Zioneer has reported, a terrorist was shot after throwing stones and pulling a knife at the Rachel Crossing on July 8, and a suspect was arrested following an attempted ramming near the Tarqumiya crossing on July 17. No direct link between the incidents has been established. The knife-wielding terrorist was subdued by soldiers and taken for questioning; no injuries were reported.
