Earlier on Monday, reports emerged of a draft candidate list submitted by UTJ, according to a report by Eli Hirshman (N12). That preliminary list included Asher, Goldknopf, Pindrus, Porush, Rosenthal, and Elikim Stark. The Zioneer had reported on a draft list on Monday with slight variations, noting differences in order and names. Tuesday's official list omits Stark and adds Eichler, Weissfish, Tesler, Saltz, Ohana, and Rot, reflecting the finalized composition from both Agudat Yisrael and Degel HaTorah factions.
The reshuffled slate comes amid internal transitions within UTJ. As The Zioneer reported on September 2, senior Degel HaTorah MKs Moshe Gafni and Uri Maklev are stepping down on instructions from Gedolei HaTorah, making way for a new generation of representatives. UTJ chairman and Housing Minister Yaakov Goldknopf remains a central figure in the party's leadership.
The official list is now set, though the electoral impact will depend on voter turnout and coalition dynamics in the lead-up to the 26th Knesset elections.
