TL;DR

Unofficial Iranian Telegram channels have released footage of an attack on the Shahid Haqqani port in the southern Iranian city of Bandar Abbas, according to security analyst Yair Goldblatt. The reports, which are unverified, also claim that several IRGC Navy targets in the port area were struck. The attacking force is not specified in the circulating footage or reports.

01 · THE DISPATCH

Overnight, as a wave of strikes reported by US and Iranian sources continued, unofficial Iranian Telegram channels released footage of an attack on the Shahid Haqqani port in Bandar Abbas. The footage, reported by analyst Yair Goldblatt, also claims that IRGC Navy targets within the port compound were struck. The attacking force is not identified in the footage or the accompanying reports. This development comes after The Zioneer reported earlier tonight (01:06 Jerusalem) that Iranian state television said US strikes targeted communication towers in Hormozgan province, and that US aircraft struck IRGC missile launchers, air defense systems, and radar sites across southern Iran.

The Zioneer's thread on this strike wave began at 01:06 Jerusalem with an IRGC-affiliated news agency reporting that Iran was experiencing the most powerful wave of strikes since the April ceasefire. At the same time, Iranian state television claimed that US strikes targeted communication towers in Hormozgan, and security observers reported an unknown target burning in Bandar Abbas. Separate reports at 01:06 indicated that US aircraft struck IRGC targets including missile launchers, air defense, radars, and drone storage sites in several southern Iranian cities. These reports remain unverified, but the new footage appears to show a different target—the port—rather than the communication towers previously cited.

The Zioneer has previously reported on strikes targeting infrastructure in Bandar Abbas. On June 11, The Zioneer reported that Bandar Abbas airport was under attack, following the collapse of Qatari mediation efforts. Additionally, strikes on other Iranian ports such as Jask have been reported (June 10). The targeting of the Shahid Haqqani port, if confirmed, would extend the pattern of attacks on Iranian strategic assets.

The new footage is from a single unofficial channel and has not been independently verified. The identity of the attacker remains unclear, and no official confirmation from Iranian authorities or other sources has been reported. The extent of damage to the port and IRGC Navy targets is unknown.
