TL;DR

Unverified Russian and Ukrainian Telegram channels report that the victim of yesterday's car bombing near Moscow was Major General Damir Davydov, 57, head of the artillery and missile division at the Russian Defense Ministry. The bomb reportedly contained half a kilogram of TNT. Russian authorities have not confirmed the identity. An earlier April 2025 car bombing in the same neighborhood killed General Yaroslav Moskalik, an attack for which Russia blamed Ukraine's SBU.
