Moments later, Magen David Adom (MDA) identified the victims as a 70-year-old woman in critical condition and a 20-year-old woman moderately wounded. By the same time, the older woman had died despite CPR efforts. The ages have since been revised: the deceased is now listed as 67, and the second victim is her 27-year-old daughter.
The Zioneer has reported on multiple pedestrian accidents in Nahariya, including a July 12 incident on Sderot HaNasi Ben Zvi in which two pedestrians were struck by a minibus, with one woman moderately injured. The same street was the site of Friday's fatal accident.
