The incident was first reported at 16:17 Jerusalem, when Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics treated a 40-year-old worker who had fallen from a great height on Saadia Gaon Street, initially in critical condition with multi-system injuries. Within minutes, the location was specified as the Kiryat Sanz yeshiva, where renovations were underway. At 16:17, MDA confirmed the worker had been declared dead at the hospital. A subsequent bulletin at 17:56 Jerusalem reiterated the fatality and the worker's age.
