Security analyst Yair Goldblatt posted on X a list of cities in southern Iran he says were attacked by the US, including Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Ahvaz, and others. The list is unverified and no official confirmation has been issued.
Security and Middle East analyst Yair Goldblatt posted on X early Monday a list of 13 cities in southern Iran he claims have been struck by the United States in its ongoing campaign. The list includes Kish, Sirik, Bandar Abbas, Jask, Bushehr, Khandab, Bandar Mahshahr, Behbahan, Andimeshk, Dezful, Ahvaz, Abadan, and Khorramshahr. The claim, published around 02:00 Jerusalem, is unverified and no official statement from the US military or Iranian authorities has been released.
This latest posting by Goldblatt builds on a thread of unverified reports The Zioneer has tracked since the overnight hours. At 01:51 Jerusalem, initial reports described at least 15 airstrikes in the Bandar Abbas area alone, with strikes also on Qeshm Island, Sirik, and Jask. Within the same minute, a report claimed all cities in Khuzestan province were attacked, and a separate posting noted a strike on an airbase housing F-5E fighter jets. By 01:51 a list of 14 reported target locations circulated, including Andimeshk, Khuzestan, Qeshm, Sirik, Bandar Abbas, Bandar Jask, Ahvaz, and Bushehr. Goldblatt's new list partially overlaps those earlier names but adds several — such as Kish, Khandab, Behbahan, Dezful, Abadan, and Khorramshahr — while the version 4 list of 14 also included locations like Chazabeh border crossing not named by Goldblatt. All reports remain sourced to single channels with no official confirmation.
The Zioneer has previously reported on similar claims. On July 9, Goldblatt reported attacks in Bandar Lengeh and Bandar Abbas (01:45 Jerusalem). That same day, Abu Ali Express published a list of main locations struck by the US, including Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Bandar Lengeh, Bandar Jask, Qeshm, Kish, and Abu Musa (08:08 Jerusalem). On July 12, a wave of reports described a third wave of US airstrikes in southern Iran, with explosions heard in Jask, Qeshm, Konarak, and Chabahar (03:14 Jerusalem), and US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was quoted saying Iran 'made a wrong choice' (07:54 Jerusalem).
The list remains entirely unconfirmed. No details have emerged on the extent of damage, casualties, or the specific timing of the reported strikes against the named cities.
