The incident began on Saturday when an off-duty IDF soldier who was grazing sheep was attacked near Susya. As The Zioneer reported at 07:03 Jerusalem on Sunday, a Palestinian attacker threw stones, moderately wounded the soldier, and snatched his weapon. Security forces launched a swift operation. By Saturday evening at 21:01 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that four suspects had been arrested and the weapon recovered. On Monday, the IDF, police, and Shin Bet confirmed the arrests of all four terrorists. Earlier on Monday at 19:36 Jerusalem, footage released by journalist Zvi Yehezkeli detailed the sequence of the attack, showing Bedouin children attacking a Jewish shepherd and snatching his weapon.
