The Farms Association is an organization representing agricultural farms in Judea and Samaria, focused on preserving state lands and maintaining a Jewish presence in Area C through extensive grazing and farming activities.
The Farms Association (Igud HaChavot) serves as the representative body for agricultural outposts and farms across Judea and Samaria. These farms, often established by young families and volunteers, utilize extensive grazing methods to secure large tracts of land in Area C, which remains under full Israeli security and administrative control. The association's primary mission is to prevent illegal land takeovers by adversarial actors and to bolster Israeli sovereignty through active agricultural presence.
In recent years, the model of 'agricultural farms' has become a central pillar of the Zionist effort in Judea and Samaria. Unlike traditional residential communities that occupy relatively small footprints, these 130 farms manage vast territories. According to data released by the association, their member farms now span approximately 1.1 million dunams. This represents nearly one-third of the total 3.5 million dunams that comprise Area C.
