Talpith

Talpith (also spelled Telfit) is a village located in the Samaria district, positioned approximately 12 kilometers southeast of the city of Shechem (Nablus). The village sits in a region characterized by a high density of both Palestinian villages and Israeli communities, a geographic reality that often leads to security friction and civilian disputes over land and movement. Like many villages in this sector of Judea and Samaria, Talpith is situated within an area where Israeli security forces maintain active counter-terror operations and monitoring to prevent the escalation of local conflicts.

In recent years, the village has appeared in security reports regarding incidents involving Israeli residents from neighboring communities. These reports often involve allegations of property damage or nationalist-motivated graffiti, frequently referred to as 'Price Tag' incidents by various monitoring groups.
