Just over half an hour after police removed 21 illegally installed cameras in the northern village of Kfar Salem, a second operation has been reported near Shechem (Nablus) in Samaria, where 21 cameras were also removed. The removal was reported at Mon 17:37 Jerusalem, according to reports.
Earlier today, at Mon 16:57 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that police removed 21 illegally installed cameras in Kfar Salem, based on a report from Abu Ali Express. The new operation, also involving 21 cameras, appears to be a separate incident in a different region. The cameras in both cases were reportedly installed in violation of the law and encroached on public space.
The removals come amid ongoing enforcement actions by Israeli authorities against unauthorized installations. The identity of those who installed the cameras near Shechem remains unclear, and no group has claimed responsibility.
