The death comes on the same day as a separate fatal accident near Carmei Tzur. At around 18:49 Jerusalem on Monday, The Zioneer first reported that a 4-year-old boy had been critically injured after being struck by a bus on Route 3515 near the entrance to Carmei Tzur. By that same hour, medical teams had pronounced the child dead; later, at 19:36 Jerusalem, an MDA medic recounted prolonged resuscitation efforts at the scene. The two incidents are separated by a short time and location, but the desk has not received information linking them causally.
As The Zioneer reported Monday at 19:36 Jerusalem, MDA senior medic Avital Apfel described finding the 4-year-old unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing with severe injuries; despite advanced care, his death was declared at the scene.
