A 64-year-old woman sustained serious injuries Friday evening in a collision between two vehicles on Highway 90 near Beit She'an, Magen David Adom (MDA) reported.
The crash also injured a man in his 30s moderately and two others lightly. All four were evacuated to Emek Medical Center in Afula. The circumstances of the accident remain under investigation.
This marks the second serious road accident on Highway 90 in the Beit She'an area reported to The Zioneer in recent weeks — a sign of the road's known hazard profile among drivers crossing Israel's Jordan Valley thoroughfare. The earlier incident, reported on Friday 19:57 Jerusalem time, involved the same road and the same hospital destination.
