MK Tali Gotliv (Likud) gave an exclusive interview to Israel News Channel on Tuesday, in which she accused Defense Minister Israel Katz of endangering her and filing a complaint against her. She also said Katz has now submitted her to the High Court of Justice, which will hear petitions against her parliamentary immunity this week.
The interview comes amid an ongoing controversy over Gotliv's immunity, which the Knesset is set to vote on. The Zioneer has previously reported on the case, including a Shin Bet assessment that Gotliv endangered a senior security service member, and accusations from Gotliv that the attorney general is sabotaging the right-wing government. Earlier today, Gotliv also accused Katz of ignoring the leak of the Iran strike date to Channel 12 while focusing on her immunity.
In the interview, Gotliv also addressed party politics, saying the left is inventing a center bloc with four seats to prevent voters from supporting Likud. She reiterated her loyalty to Prime Minister Netanyahu and the party.
