Initial reports at 09:56 Jerusalem indicated a possible hazardous materials leak, and an ammonia leak was confirmed, leading to the evacuation of the entire industrial zone. However, officials later ruled out the danger. Twenty-five firefighting crews and two aircraft worked to contain the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Police have asked the public to avoid the area.
