Dutch opposition leader and prime ministerial candidate Geert Wilders visited the Gilad Farm in Samaria on Sunday to pay respects to the family of IDF Master Sgt. (res.) Benayahu Mellet, who was killed in a terrorist shooting in Samaria last week. Wilders was accompanied by Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan.
During the visit, Wilders expressed condolences to the widow, Esther Mellet, and told her: 'You are all heroes. You are not alone. Millions in Europe feel your pain.' Esther responded that she knew 100% that her husband was there to help and did not expect this outcome. Dagan told Wilders: 'I promise you, together with this heroic family, we will be strengthened and we will win.'
