Israel's Health and Environment Ministries have warned against entering seven rivers and streams in the north due to abnormal water pollution findings, according to Israeli media. The affected areas include the Jordan River, Brikhat HaMeshushim, Gilbon, Zaki, Yehudiya, Tzalamon, and Kaziv. The advisory is in effect immediately.
The Health and Environment Ministries issued the advisory after abnormal results in water sampling conducted in northern streams. The ministries warned that entering the listed rivers could be hazardous to health. The advisory is effective immediately. Similar advisories were issued earlier this month regarding other water bodies, including the Banias and Hasbani rivers (June 23) and several Kinneret beaches (June 12).
