Updated health warning: seven northern rivers unsafe for swimming, specific stretches listed

Israel's Health and Environment Ministries have updated their advisory, warning against entering the following rivers and streams due to abnormal water pollution: the Jordan River from Gesher Yosef to Gesher Erik, Brikhat HaMeshushim (Hexagon Pool), Gilbon, Zaki, Yehudiya, Tzalamon (Brikhat Haruv), and Kaziv (Ein Tamir and Ein Hardalit), according to N12.

The advisory, issued by the ministries and reported by Avivit Misnikov (N12), updates an earlier warning from the same day (15:57) that listed seven rivers without specific locations. The new warning provides precise stretches of the affected waterways, including the Jordan River from Gesher Yosef to Gesher Erik, Brikhat HaMeshushim, Gilbon, Zaki, Yehudiya, Tzalamon (Brikhat Haruv), and Kaziv (Ein Tamir and Ein Hardalit). The cause of the pollution has not been disclosed. The public is advised to avoid entering these waters until further notice.
