At 21:46 Jerusalem that evening, the brigade command confirmed that 14 soldiers had been sentenced to 30 days in military prison and dismissed from combat roles for leading the rebellion at the base. The entire Sabra battalion was grounded from its scheduled Shabbat leave, and approximately 80 additional soldiers who had left the base were ordered to undergo a command and educational process with their commanders. Earlier reports from Channel 14 and i24NEWS had indicated the sentencing, and the IDF officially confirmed the measures later that evening.
