Israeli forces destroyed a major terror tunnel in southern Lebanon, over 200 meters long and 25 meters deep, the military says. The IDF described the underground facility, built with Iranian funding, as a terror base right on Israel's border, as part of the ongoing effort to dismantle Hezbollah's subterranean infrastructure.
Israeli forces destroyed another major terror tunnel in southern Lebanon on Monday afternoon, the IDF confirmed. The underground facility, measuring over 200 meters in length and 25 meters deep, was described as an Iranian-funded terror base located directly on Israel's border. The demolition occurred hours after the IDF announced the destruction of a 200-meter Hezbollah tunnel in the village of Majdal Zoun overnight Sunday, as The Zioneer reported at 09:36 Jerusalem on Monday. That earlier operation was confirmed by Defense Minister Israel Katz and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as part of what the military calls Operation 'End of Verse.'
