Israeli forces operating in the village of Majdal Zoun, under 6 km from the border, released footage of a weapons cache they seized in the area. Troops entered the village on the ground only 3–4 days ago for the first time, according to an Israeli military source. The find underscores the extent of Hezbollah armaments stored close to the Israeli border.
IDF forces operating in the southern Lebanese village of Majdal Zoun have released footage of a weapons cache they seized in the area. The village is located less than 6 km from the Israeli border, in the western sector of southern Lebanon, and Israeli ground troops entered it for the first time only 3–4 days ago, according to an Israeli military source cited by Abu Ali Express.
As The Zioneer previously reported, the IDF captured the village from Hezbollah forces after days of fighting. Hezbollah formally acknowledged the loss of Majdal Zoun on June 14, confirming that Israeli forces held the entire village. The IDF had earlier reported booby-trapping and demolishing buildings there. The weapons cache discovery provides further evidence of Hezbollah's military infrastructure positioned close to Israeli communities.
