And on Sun Jun 7, the IDF eliminated the Nukhba commander who led the Kisufim infiltration. These operations are part of Israel's ongoing campaign to track down and neutralize every operative who participated in the October 7 massacre and those who continue to pose a threat.
The IDF stated that prior to the strikes, steps were taken to mitigate civilian harm, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance. The eliminations further degrade Hamas's command structure in the Gaza Strip, particularly the Nukhba force. IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any threat, the military said.
