The IDF says it intercepted one suspicious aerial target in an area where its forces operate in southern Lebanon following alerts. A second suspicious target fell inside Israeli territory near the Lebanon border. No injuries were reported; the incident is under review.
The IDF confirmed that following alerts of a hostile aircraft intrusion in northern Israel, one suspicious aerial target was intercepted by the air force near Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon. A second target crossed into Israeli territory and fell near the Lebanon border, close to Arab al-Aramshe and Adamit. The military reported no casualties and said the incident is under investigation.
This marks the second such incident tonight involving aerial targets from Lebanon. As The Zioneer reported earlier this evening (22:52), a near-identical event unfolded minutes prior: an interception and a fall in Israeli territory. The pattern of alerts triggered by interception attempts — rather than direct incoming fire — has been a recurring feature of recent weeks, with at least six similar incidents recorded since June 7. The IDF has not yet specified the nature of the targets or attributed responsibility for the launches.
