The military says it intercepted a suspicious aerial target identified in an area where Israeli forces are operating in southern Lebanon, after alerts were triggered in the Shlomi area. The alerts were activated according to policy, the IDF said.
The interception comes roughly 10 minutes after an earlier incident in which the IDF reported identifying a suspicious aerial target over the same area, as The Zioneer reported at 14:18. In that incident, the IDF also reported a second suspicious aerial vehicle advancing toward Israeli territory from the western Galilee. The military has not yet confirmed whether today's interception is connected to those identifications. The Shlomi area has seen repeated alerts in recent days amid ongoing Israeli operations in southern Lebanon.
