The IDF confirmed that a siren that sounded in the Kissufim area at around 05:32 Jerusalem was a false identification. This is the second alert in the Gaza-envelope community this morning, following an earlier red alert at 05:23.
That initial siren triggered a series of updates. The Home Front Command instructed residents to enter protected spaces, then declared the incident over at 05:27, with the IDF clarifying that the siren was activated due to Israeli military activity inside the Gaza Strip. No injuries or damage were reported in that incident.
False alarm incidents have been reported across Israel in recent weeks. As The Zioneer reported, sirens in Avivim, Yiron, Arab al-Aramsha, Zar'it, and Eilat were all determined to be false identifications.
