An indictment was filed Thursday against Alon Soisa, 46, of Nesher, accusing him of impersonating a 15-year-old boy on social media to solicit intimate photos and videos from teenage girls, according to Channel 12 legal correspondent Sharon Knoblich. The charge sheet also includes sex crimes within the family related to incidents alleged to have occurred about 20 years ago.
The indictment, filed at the Nazareth District Court, marks the formal charging of Soisa after weeks of investigation. He is accused of creating a fake online persona as a 15-year-old boy and communicating with girls via TikTok and WhatsApp, requesting explicit content. The charge sheet also includes counts of indecent acts and sexual offenses within the family, stemming from events alleged to have occurred roughly two decades ago.
The case has been followed by The Zioneer since July, when Soisa was arrested and his name and photo were released with court approval. A prosecutor's statement was filed earlier this week, and the indictment now advances the legal process. Soisa remains in custody; his attorney previously stated the suspect denies any connection to the offenses.
